welcome.
Blessed Cándida María de Jesús (secular name Juana Josefa Cipitria y Barriola) (May 31, 1845 - August 9, 1912) was a Spanish nun. She founded the Congregation of the Hijas de Jesús (Daughters of Jesus) on December 8, 1871 in Salamanca, Spain.
She was born in Berrospe, Andoain, Guipuzcoa, in the Basque region of Spain. Her father was a weaver, and the family was poor.
In 1863, when she was 23, she met Jesuit Father Miguel José Herranz, who helped her in her call to form a Congregation[1].
She died on August 9, 1912.
On May 12, 1996, she was beatified, together with another Hijas de Jesus, Maria Antonia Bandres y Elosegui, by Pope John Paul II.
In July 2009, a meeting took place between Archbishop Angelo Amato, the Prefect for the Sacred Congregation for the Causes of Saints, and Pope Benedict XVI. In that meeting, the Pope formally approved a second miracle that the Congregation (first its medical panel, then the theological panel, then the prelate members) had reviewed and voted to approve. This clears the way for the date to be announced for her canonization by Benedict.
On February 19, 2010, Pope Benedict announced that her canonization will take place on October 17, 2010.

She found a congregation, and with that I can go to school named Manresa School. A school where I experienced so many things, like the values and even the ups and the dows...
She taught me to treasure the things I have...
She taught me to respect the elderly like my teachers, sisters, parents and even the staff...
She taught me to care for the poor, even in little ways it would still make a change...
She taught me how to love God and Mama Mary...
She taught me to be humble, simple and generous everytime...
She taught me how to be apreciative...
She taught me how to love...not only my friends and family but also my enemies...
She taught me to forgive...

Juana Josefa Cipitria y Barriola was born and baptized on MAY 31 1845 in BERROSPE, ANDOAIN, GUIPUZCAO SPAIN. She is the eldest of the 7 sisters, her mother is MARIA JESUS BARRIOLA Y QUEREZETA who is a housewife and her father is JUAN MIGUEL CIPITRIA Y ARAMBURU who is a weaver. She lived a very simple life yet she loves to go to the church and offer flowers to Mama Mary. When she was just a little girl she would have this sandwhich made by her grandma called the OMELET, but sometimes when she would see beggars begging for food, she would given it to them. When she grew up they transfered to TOLOSA to have a great life, their she would always go to STA. MARIA church to pray to God and offer Mama Mary flowers. In that church she saw a statue, that statue was St. Ignatius de Loyola holding a book which says, ''AD MAIOREM DEM GLORIAM'' which means ''FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD.'' ( in a young age she said"i want to follow that"). When she turned 15 their was this rich wealthy man who asked her hand for marriage, but yet she refused and told the wealthy man "I AM FOR GOD ALONE" even if she knows that this will be a big help to her family. When shen was 17 she went to BORGOS with Father Martin to get away from her suitor. Their she would work as a maid to help her family. The MONTOYA family is where she worked first as a maid, she would almost love it their but she had no more time for God and go to the church. After that she also worked as a maid in the Sabater family. She would love staying their because the Sabater family also loves to help the poor people/families. The time had come when the Sabater family had no more money to spend for the poor and Madre Candida was giving her own money to them. That time the Sabater family told her, No, do not spend all your money to the poor, save some to yourself, Madre Candida immideately replied, "WHEN THEIR IS NO ROOM FOR THE POOR NEITHER THER IS NO ROOM FOR ME." After a few more years, she already found a congregation named Hijas de Jesus which means Daughters of Jesus... She died on AUGUST 9 1912 on SALAMANCA SPAIN. She was beatified on MAY 12 1996 by POPE JOHN PAUL II in VATICAN CITY, and now she is on her way in being a Saint! she will be canonized on OCTOBER 17 2010.

Mother Candida is a saint , mother foundress but for me she is a good
example for us because she has shown a lot of good things.
Mother Candida was born on May 31 ,1845 in Andoain , Gipuzcoa.
It was also the day she was baptized. Her real name is Juana Josefa Cipitria
Y Barriola. She had seven siblings. She lived a very simple life.
When she was younger her grandmother made an omelet just for her.
Instead of eating her omelet she waited for a beggar to come and gave it to the
beggar . The good example is she is willing to help the poor as much as she can.
Here's another situation from Mother Candida's life . When she was a
teenager a suitor asked her to marry him. She declined the suitor and said " I
AM FOR GOD ALONE " . She is willing to give up everything for God.
There are many more good examples of Mother Candida but these two
are my favorite situations in her life . Those are the situations that makes her a good example.

~"WHEN THEIR IS NO ROOM FOR THE POOR THEIR IS NO ROOM FOR ME"~
>Mo. Candida tells us to love and help the poor just like the love that God gave us. She encourages us to do even small things for them to show them that we are one family.
~"IT IS MY GREAT JOY TO SEE YOUNG CHILDREN, COME TO OUR SCHOOL AND RECIEVE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION"~
>She's telling us that we must value the VALUES that we get from school. She also encourages us to study very hard because we are so fortunate that we are able to go to a wonderful school and recieve nice education. Thus, this will only happen if we would follow the simple life of Mo. Candida, not being a sister(foundress) but being someone who knows how to be appreciative and simple.
